Sixth SPREP Meeting held in suva Fiji on 20-22 September 1993

The Sixth SPREP Meeting (formerly called the Intergovernmental Meeting) was convened in Suva, Fiji, on 20-22 September 1993. Representatives of the following SPREP member countries and territories attended: American Samoa, Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, France, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, United States of America, and Western Samoa. Advisers also attended from the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Forum Secretariat, the South Pacific Commission (SPC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Observers from a range of regional, international and non-government organisations were also present.
