Cir#22/37: International Day for Biological Diversity, 22 May 2022.

The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has defined the theme “Building a shared future for all life” for the International Day for Biological Diversity on 22 May 2022. There are three main ways for our Pacific Islands region to harness this event to raise awareness of Pacific actions and priorities for Pacific biodiversity for the International Day for Biological Diversity.  We would also like to incorporate these in our work to amplify our Pacific voice in the lead up to, and at, the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) this year (CBD COP15).
