2010 International Year of Biodiversity: a Strategic Framework for the Pacific

Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity at its eighth meeting, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2010 the International Year of Biodiversity (IYB). The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity was designated focal point for the Year.
