Solomon Islands National Climate Change Policy 2012-2017

Climate change and its accompanying impacts is one of the most challenging and complex environmental problems now confronting the global environment and humanity. Scientific evidence and the work of the global scientific authority on climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2007), has shown that concentrations of Green House Gases (GHG) in the earth’s atmosphere have increased significantly since the industrial revolution.
