Good quality water or potable water is water that is clear, colourless and with pleasant taste and odour. It must not contain any substance, organism, chemical or radioactive materials and/or concentration which could endanger the consumers at all times. To prevent waterborne diseases, access to safe water that meets regulatory standards is most protective of public health.
