The United Nations funded project develops environmental awareness and improve conditions in squatters and low income dwelling areas in Suva. Carolyn Court speaks to Isaua Kavulavula who explains the goal of the project and how it operates, while Kerry Straphy of SPACHE discusses the importance of community involvement. On the second issue, Dr. Ian Mcfayll (Chairman of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority - GBRMPA), speaks about the report on the state of the marine environment. This report is part of a large project called Ocean Rescue 2000.
