Identifies turtle species found in the Pacific Islands, turtle legends from various islands, and the changes that have taken place resulting in the rapid decrease of turtle population. These changes are identified as well as the programmes ( such as tagging in Palau, Hatchery programmes in Tahiti), which are implemented throughout several islands in the hope of slowing down the alarming rate of turtle extinction.
