National Environment Management Strategy (NEMS): Niue

NEMS being developed in various Pacific Island countries outline environmental issues faced by each country and identify strategies required to address them. It is a measure of the level of awareness, the need for action, and a possitive response to threats to the environments of these Islands. This video depicts environmental issues specific to Niue as part of the NEMS awareness raising process. The objectives are three-fold; to protect freshwater supply; avoid harmful agricultural practices; and protect coral reefs of Niue.
