The objectives of the meeting wew to facilitate a greater inderstanding, especially at the international level, of the scientific, economic, social and other issues related to climate to climate change and small islands and to increase awareness amongst Pacific Island Countries and individuals of international and regional activities and opportunities related to climate change.
