Laboratory Manual for the Examination of Water, Waste Water, and Soil

This laboratory manual is not intended to be just another introduction to the testing of water, waste water and soil. The aim is to fulfill the requirement for a comprehensive work, including descriptions of relatively simple chemical, microbiological and soil science techniques that can easily be carried out in technical laboratories. Methods involving complex apparatus have been deliberately omitted and only those soil science tests included which can be performed in a poorly to averagely equipped water laboratory included. Irrigation aspects and environmental protection are emphasised.
