One World: Marine Turtle Conservation

Marine turtles are on the verge of extinction. With this in mind, the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme declared 1995 as the Year of the Sea Turtle. Carolyn Court speaks to a number of concerned officials in regards to this development covering areas of protection, conservation, and associated programmes such as the Hatchery programmes in Fiji, awareness programmes in Samoa (speaking with Cedric Schuster-Department of Environment & Conservation), and the anticipated activities for the Year of the Sea Turtle project (speaking with Sue Miller - Species Biodiversity Officer).
