SPREP Treaty Meeting

A video of the SPREP Treaty Meeting on the 16th June 1993, officially establishing SPREP in Samoa. Opened by Prime Minister Tofilau Eti Alesana of Samoa, he was also the first to sign the Treaty followed by other delegates. US pledged full participation and cooperation. Countries with representation shown are; Niue Premier Frank Lui, Minister of Environment for Kiribati, Vanuatu, Marshall Islands, Australia, American Samoa and New Zealand.
