Conservation, management, and development of coral reefs in the Pacific: building on the results of six years of research, collaboration and education

The Coral Reef InitiativeS for the Pacific (CRISP) came about through France’s political commitment to contribute to the development of the region’s island nations and to promote integration of the French overseas territories into their regional environment. This initiative was set up by the Agence française de Développement (French Development Agency ? AFD) as part of an inter-ministerial approach that began in 2002 and then several other partners joined the project
