First regular National report on the implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety : Samoa

This report was put together by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaborations with relevant stakeholders, academic and science base institutions, public consultations through awareness and training workshops shown great appreciation support and strengthens the biosafety issue in Samoa. Upon ratification of the Cartagena Protocol, the government of Samoa has been developing the National Biosafety Framework to address biosafety issue and to implement its obligations under the Protocol.
