Managing the Risk

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority manages the National Plan to provide a level of preparedness to the threat posed to the marine environment by oil and chemical spills. The plan is a combined effort by the Commonwealth, State/NT governments, the oil, shipping and exploration industries, emergency services and fire brigades.
