Regional Organisations of the Pacific: Working Together

A number of important initiatives have been accomplished through the CROP mechanism, including development of a Pacific Regional Strategy - following the Madang 1995 Forum Meeting. Establishment of CROP Working Groups to conduct in depth sector analysis of a number of development sectors from the regional perspective, and provide recommendations for addressing important policy and operational issues in the various sectors. These CROP working groups are not permanent structures. They are established to address particular issues. Once this is accomplished, the relevant working group cease to operate.( 2 copies)
