Summary report of the first coastal protection meeting held on 21-23 February 1994 in Apia, Western Samoa

The meeting recognised that the need for effective costal protection systems in the region was due to increased use of, and pressure on the coastal zone for infrastructure, commercial, residential and recreational uses.
