The Human Impact on the Natural environment

In this edition I have retained the structure of the three previous editions. However, I have updated substaintial portions of the text to take account of the ever-increasing on this theme, most especially those parts dealing with deforestation, desertification, ecological invasions, climatic change and the and the climatic future. I have also revised the guide to further reading, augmented and updated the references, and included some new figures.
