This job exists to:

• Lead the development, review, and implementation the SPREP Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Framework.
• Provide high level policy advice and technical assistance on MEL including capacity building, awareness, and knowledge management to support impact and evidenced based reporting.
• Lead and champion MEL within SPREP and its integration into SPREP technical programmes, projects, and organisation level policies, systems, and processes.
 

To support the Climate Change Resilience (CCR) Programme in providing technical and policy advisory support to members in strengthening loss and damage evidence base, policies and actions in the region and internationally to address issues relating to climate change-induced loss and damage.

This job exists to:
•    Coordinate the implementation of the INC project as well as monitoring, evaluation and reporting upon activities against the Project’s Outcomes and Annual Workplans

•    Promote awareness and understanding of the Ramsar Convention and activities.

This position exists to:
•    Provide support and assistance to the IT Team on SPREP-wide applications and databases, IT infrastructure, services, processes, and other technical end user support concentrating on IT capacity building.

•    Manage in-country delivery of the Central Solomon Islands Seascape activity on a day-to-day basis in collaboration with the delivery partner.
•    Work closely with and provide support to SI National and Provincial Governments and activity delivery partner to ensure effectiveness of the activity. 
•    Build capacity within the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology (MECDM) and Central Province Government to design and implement ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change responses.
