This job exists to:

• Operationalise the Monitoring Evaluation Reporting and Learning Plan.
• Lead the implementation of monitoring, evaluation and reporting upon activities against the Project’s Outcomes Framework and Annual Workplans;

• Provide technical and financial assistance and support in the management and implementation of the SWAP Project

• Provide cleaning and office maintenance services and support

• Build, administer and manage the SPREP local and wide area network (LAN/WAN);

• Provide high level technical support for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems portfolio

• Build, deploy and maintain hardware systems in support of SPREP portfolio of Regional ICT tools and applications

• Develop and administer appropriate security solutions to safeguard SPREP ICT infrastructure

• Strengthen SPREP capacity to design and implement regional approaches to coastal and marine ecosystem management, including implementation of the Pacific Coral Reef Action Plan at regional and national levels.

• Provide strategic, policy, and technical advice to SPREP Members to support their priorities on coastal and marine ecosystem conservation and management in the context of the Pacific BioScapes Programme.

Manage in-country delivery of the Central Solomon Islands Seascape activity on a day-to-day basis in collaboration with the delivery partner.

Work closely with and provide support to SI National and Provincial Governments and activity delivery partner to ensure effectiveness of the activity.

Build capacity within the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology (MECDM) and Central Province Government to design and implement ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change responses.

Develop and deliver communication and outreach content, products, media, synthesis material and training to support the outcomes of the Pacific BioScapes Programme.

Lead the financial and administration functions of the project.

Lead the Pacific BioScapes Programme and team, coordinate partners and deliver the Pacific BioScapes Programme in Pacific Island countries.

This job exists to:

• Provide support to the Communications and Outreach Team in implementing SPREP’s outreach activities to raise environment awareness and to raise the profile of environment issues, SPREP, its partners and relevant actions
